The more than 73,000 square foot luxury day spa complex offers a wide array of services designed to promote healing and well-being. The Spa at Séc-he (seck hee) features 15 treatment rooms offering massages, facials, and body treatments. And of course, a visit to The Spa at Séc-he isn’t complete without a soak in their hot mineral baths. Within minutes of soaking in this precious hot mineral spring waters, expect to experience a release throughout the body, diminished muscle aches, and a reduction in joint inflammation. The sacred mineral waters also helps with skin conditions such as dryness and redness.

Taking of the Waters

The Hot Mineral Springs is sacred to the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians. The Cahuilla word “Séc-he” translates to “the sound of boiling water” and is a healing tradition.  The Tribe has been steward of the spring for generations and has shared these healing waters for more than 130 years. The 105-degree ancient water emerges from the ground in its purest state for the ultimate healing and relaxation technique. There are 22 private mineral baths to experience Taking of the Waters.

Taking of the Waters Day Pass

The Spa at Séc-he Taking of the Waters Day Pass offers access to all spa amenities, including a private Taking of the Waters bath experience. Its robust amenities create an immersive wellness experience. The spa includes a full fitness center, men’s and women’s lockers with aromatherapy showers and separate lounge areas with private mineral baths, a eucalyptus steam room, and a menthol inhalation sauna with a cold experience shower. There are also two relaxation areas on the men’s and women’s side with Acoustic Wellness vibrational loungers and acoustic zero-gravity vibration chairs for binaural therapy (sound wave).  Experience the Grounded Tranquility rooms with zero-gravity conductive chairs, and more. Combined, these offerings provide guests no-touch therapy for deeper states of relaxation and goal-oriented wellness. A beautiful common area lounge with two halotherapy salt caves connect all areas including the treatment rooms to the main pool and pool deck. The pool deck features a coed whirlpool, resort-style waterfall main pool and zero-edge mineral pool.

Treatments

The Spa at Sec-he includes all the services you would expect in a luxury spa – Massages, body scrubs, body wraps, and facials. In addition, they also offer a number of treatments.

Mineral Bath

The custom mineral baths fill with pure thermal mineral springs rich in mineral content to soothe muscles and skin, hydrate, and assist joints. This private bath is made just for you to soak in the sacred waters. Gentle bubbling jets create the sound of boiling water, thus the name Séc-he.

Float

Floatation uses high concentrations of Epsom salts in a tank to allow your body to float on the dense waters. With minimal stimulation of light, sounds, gravity, and temperature it allows the mind to relax and reset. Supporting creativity, reducing pain in muscle and joints as well as decreasing stress by absorbing magnesium into the skin for a calming effect.

Quartz Bed

The Gharieni Quartz bed uses ground quartz and amber heated on the massage table to create a unique user experience and enhance the service. While lying on the treatment table your body is contoured by the grains, a rolling air cushion gently stretches the back and the table tilts back and forth throughout to shift the body. The table is also used with water cells to create the sense of massage on a water bed unique to their signature cupping water massage.

Salt Cave

Halotherapy uses the power and cleansing effect of salt to help support lungs and respiratory system. Great for skin health and acne.

Cryotherapy

Feel the power and benefits of whole-body cryotherapy. It is known for supporting circulation, muscle recovery, full range of motion, increased blood and lymphatic flow, and reduced inflammation. This is a unique experience that offers many wellness benefits for all types of guests.

The Spa at Sec-he Pool

Enjoy salads like a vegan buddha bowl, avocado salad, ahi poke bowl, or a lemon pepper beef salad for some added protein.
