Holiday House Palm Springs is a 28-room adult only boutique hotel located in downtown Palm Springs.
The property features midcentury inspired elements combined with a communal atmosphere and whimsical edge. The design centers around Gio Ponti inspired tile-work in the bar and artwork throughout the property including pieces by David Hockney, Roy Liechtenstein, Herb Ritts, Alex Katz and Mr. Brainwash, with a garden sculpture by Donald Sultan.
In order to create a communal environment, Holiday House does not have televisions in our rooms. Guests must be 21 and over.
The Holiday House Palm Springs was originally built in 1951 and was a project of midcentury architectural designer Herbert W. Burns. Burns was one of the most important figures in helping to define Palm Springs modernist style, or what has now become midcentury modern.
Each of the 28 guest rooms are remodeled. They feature Waterworks bath hardware and oversized showers along with Mark D. Sikes custom textiles. The rooms include a curated artwork collection, an extensive minibar with full selection of liquors, and Cowshed bath amenities.
Included in your stay is a simple continental breakfast featuring homemade bread and pastries, fruit, yogurt, granola, as well as cheese and charcuterie. Holiday House proudly provides Vittoria coffee complimentary every morning.
Serving our modern take on classic “Americana” cuisine, The Pantry reinterprets the traditional resort menu using a fusion of new techniques and influences. The menu highlights the bounty of fresh ingredients local to California and the Coachella Valley. The Pantry is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Holiday House also serves as the perfect backdrop to any wedding, retreat or special event. Sitting on just over 1 acre, Holiday House has multiple spaces and venues which can suit groups from 15 up to 100. The Holiday House Pantry is able to create the perfect menu to suit any of your culinary needs.
