Big Crown Records Presents New Year’s Eve at Ace Hotel & Swim Club

Ace Hotel Palm Springs, in partnership with Big Crown Records, are proud to present a psychedelic send-off full of music in celebration of year’s end. A headlining performance from Big Crown’s own Bobby Oroza, with support from label mate Brainstory. Dance party to follow, curated by Mixed Company founders, Sasha Marie and Enzo Pighini, who will help us ring in the new year as nature intended. Sweaty, happy, and surrounded by friends, new and old.

NYE: Tacos & Turntables at The Drift

The party is upstairs in El Cielo as they say goodbye to 2023 on a high note with good food, good jams, and good vibes.

Tickets are $50 and include three tacos, one cocktail, a dance party provided by DJ Journee, access to the photo booth to capture the memories and the fit checks, and, of course, stunning views of the San Jacinto mountains. Dec. 31. Event is 21+ only. 284 S. Indian Canyon Dr.

Bar Cecil New Year’s Eve Event

Bar Cecil is offering delightfully fun way to celebrate the new year with Chef Gabriel Woo’s unforgettable Asian-influenced, six-course menu with a 9 pm (East coast/Times Square salute).

The New Year’s Eve event includes a welcome reception with drinks, canapés and tour de fruites de mer on the terrace, followed by a six-course menu featuring Regiis Ova osetra caviar, continued with an array of freshly-prepared dim sum, yuseng (raw wild salmon salad), and good fortune fruits granite in flavors inspired by the current crop of locally-grown oranges, tangerines and pomegranate.

The main course features five-spice roasted duck marinated overnight served with wok-fried eggplant, green beans and longevity noodles. And the evening concludes with housemade chocolate cake and mignadines featuring custard tarts, sweet sesame balls and milk tea with boba.

Cocktail hour from 5 pm with dinner service at 6 pm. Sherry Vine has almost 30 years under her sequined belt, she has earned the title of Drag Legend. Sherry tours the world with her all live singing, hilarious comedy shows, is the star and writer of her own variety show, She’s Living For This (now on Hulu), can be seen in numerous movies and TV shows, is a founding member of Theatre Couture, and is The OG Queen of YouTube, where her video parodies have been viewed over 19 million times.

Billy L’Amour serves as drag host on Saturday’s at 1 pm and/or when Jackie Beat or Sherry Vine are too busy traveling the world. Billy created his “Billy L’Amour” persona to be a Goddess of Love, playfulness, magic and seduction because he decided that is what he wants to see out in the world.

Candace Cayne was cast in the groundbreaking role of “Carmelita Rainer,” on the hit ABC primetime drama DIRTY SEXY MONEY.  She became the FIRST transgender actress to play a recurring starring role on a network television series and by doing so, broke down barriers creating a new path for her community to follow.  Currently, Cayne is recurring as the “Fairy Queen” on SYFY’s critically-acclaimed series THE MAGICIANS.  She has also recurred on shows such as NIP/TUCK playing the trans character “Alexis Stone” and “Ms. Hudson” on CBS’s ELEMENTARY.
