Please note that all federal and state requirements must still be followed. Palm Springs COVID-19 Updates All Palm Springs Businesses Masks are not required indoors. Palm Springs Restaurants & Bars Masks, proof of vaccination, and negativity test within 72 hours are not required. Public Transportation Wear a face covering in any public transportation including buses, taxis and other taxi style service. Palm Springs Events Face coverings are not required to be worn outdoors at non-ticketed large events in the City of Palm Springs. This will affect non-ticketed large events like VillageFest, Greater Palm Springs Pride Parade, the annual Veterans Day Parade and the Festival of Lights Parade. While not currently required, it is recommended to show proof of vaccine or negative COVID-19 test results at all indoor events.
