About

Located within the Ace Hotel & Swim Club, this trendy hotspot is a hidden gem – King’s Highway, a unique dining experience that combines vintage charm with modern flair.

King’s Highway invites guests to indulge in a culinary journey that pays homage to the state’s rich history. The restaurant is housed in a repurposed 1965 Denny’s building, which has been transformed into a stylish and eclectic space that perfectly reflects the Ace Hotel’s hipster aesthetic.

As you step inside, you’ll immediately be captivated by the retro vibes of King’s Highway. The midcentury décor, complete with vibrant colors, vintage furnishings, and quirky artwork, sets the stage for a memorable dining experience. It’s the kind of place where you can imagine Don Draper enjoying a leisurely breakfast or a group of friends gathering for a laid-back dinner.

King’s Highway Menu

But it’s not just the ambiance that makes King’s Highway special – it’s the food. The menu here is a delightful mix of classic American comfort food with a contemporary twist. Whether you’re craving a hearty brunch, a casual lunch, or a satisfying dinner, King’s Highway has something to satisfy every palate.

Start your day off right with their famous “The King” breakfast, featuring two eggs any style, thick-cut bacon or sausage, hash browns, and toast. Other delicious options include avocado toast and ricotta pancakes. Served until 2 pm daily.

Lunch is available after 11 am. Dive into their delicious burgers, sandwiches, or salads. Pair a vegan BBQ burger with a fresh watermelon salad. This is also one of the few places you can get a local favorite, a date shake.

And when the sun sets, treat yourself to an exquisite dinner. Served from 5 – 10 pm. With options like roasted chicken, pork chop, strip steak, or short ribs.  Go for the banana split for dessert.

Don’t forget to pair your meal with a handcrafted cocktail or a refreshing local beer from their extensive drink menu.

One of the things that sets King’s Highway apart is their commitment to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The menu features seasonal produce from nearby farms and showcases the best flavors that California has to offer. This dedication to quality and sustainability is reflected not only in the taste of the food but also in the restaurant’s mission to support the local community.

Entertainment & Events

In addition to the exceptional food, King’s Highway also hosts various events and themed nights throughout the year. From bingo nights to live music performances, there’s always something happening to keep guests entertained and engaged.
