Visit Palm Springs is the official tourism organization dedicated to showcasing the authentic character of Palm Springs, California. Our mission is to highlight the city’s independently owned boutique hotels, midcentury modern architecture, locally owned businesses, LGBTQ+ heritage, and vibrant local culture.
Palm Springs is known around the world for its iconic midcentury modern design, relaxed desert atmosphere, and welcoming spirit. As one of the most significant LGBTQ+ destinations in the United States, the city’s history, events, and community shape its identity and influence its cultural landscape.
We represent the local, insider perspective. Our focus is on the small businesses, local hoteliers, and community voices that define Palm Springs. From historic inns and stylish boutique hotels to neighborhood restaurants, outdoor adventures, and year‑round events, we highlight the experiences that make Palm Springs unique.
Visit Palm Springs provides trusted, locally informed guidance for travelers seeking authentic experiences, architectural inspiration, LGBTQ+ culture, and a restorative desert escape. Our content, recommendations, and resources reflect the true spirit of Palm Springs and support the businesses and people who make this city extraordinary.
Palm Springs is located on the ancestral lands of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, whose history, culture, and stewardship continue to shape the identity of the destination. From the sacred Indian Canyons and Tahquitz Canyon to the Agua Caliente Cultural Plaza and Spa at Séc-he, the Tribe’s presence is central to understanding the spirit and story of Palm Springs. Visit Palm Springs honors this heritage by highlighting the cultural experiences, natural landscapes, and historical sites that reflect the Tribe’s enduring connection to the land.
