Location & Walkability

The Convention Center is located at 277 N Avenida Caballeros, just two blocks east of Palm Canyon Drive, the main artery of downtown Palm Springs. Most destinations are within a 0.5–0.8 mile radius or 5–15 minutes on foot. Use E Amado Road or E Tahquitz Canyon Way to head west toward downtown.

Welwood Murray Memorial Library

If you have any questions, stop by the Welwood Murray Memorial Library. Situated in the heart of downtown, this library also houses a visitor center in a beautifully restored historic building that also operates as a digital library. Although this location does not sell gifts, it does offer self-tour maps for sale.

Stroll Through Downtown Palm Springs

Exit the convention center and head west toward Palm Canyon Drive, the heart of downtown Palm Springs. The street is lined with boutiques, vintage shops, and local galleries, as well as charming outdoor cafes. It's the perfect place to browse or people-watch.

Explore the Downtown Park & Forever Marilyn

Right across from the Palm Springs Art Museum, the Downtown Park is a relaxing green space with native landscaping, water features, and plenty of shaded seating — ideal for a midday break.

At the heart of the park stands Forever Marilyn, a 26-foot-tall sculpture of Marilyn Monroe in her iconic white dress. This larger-than-life artwork is one of the most photographed landmarks in Palm Springs.
