Located at 205 S. Palm Canyon Drive, in the heart of downtown Palm Springs, Kaiser Grille has been a cornerstone of the city’s dining scene since March 17, 1992. Founder Kaiser Morcus envisioned a place that combined scratch-made sauces, handmade pasta, and sustainably sourced proteins, all in a welcoming, family-style atmosphere.
As General Manager Nicholas Turner puts it, “Our goal has always been to serve food that’s honest, high quality, and made with care — everything is meant to make people happy at the table.”

Kaiser Grille’s menu caters to a wide variety of tastes, whether you’re craving hearty steaks, fresh seafood, or Mediterranean-inspired pastas. Chef de Cuisine Bryan Ramirez emphasizes, “We want each plate to tell a story. From the dry-aged steaks to our handmade pasta, every dish is crafted with intention and flavor in mind.”
Many of the recipes are inspired by Lee's Grandmother. Lee describes the flavors emanating from his childhood kitchen with a litany of international proficiency. Everything from lasagna, enchiladas, and fried chicken was no match for his grandmother’s estimable skills. “I don’t know how, I don’t know why, but she could cook everything. My most prized personal possessions are my grandmother’s recipes. I have two boxes of 3x5 cards, handwritten in Arabic."
- USDA Prime Steaks: From Kansas City Strip to Porterhouse and Wagyu Tomahawk Rib Chop, grilled to perfection and topped with truffle butter or Béarnaise.
- Sustainable Seafood & Fresh Fish: Seasonal choices like halibut or sea bass are often paired with Mediterranean sauces or wood-fired sides.
- Wood-Fired Pizzas & Handmade Pastas: Rustic, flavorful, and baked fresh in the restaurant’s 900-degree oven.
- Starters & Lighter Fare: Shellfish in curry broth, charcuterie, salads, and vegetarian options.
As Nicholas notes, “Whether it’s a celebration or just a night out, we want every guest to leave feeling like their evening was special — that’s why the menu is so varied and approachable.”
