Modern Men is the Coachella Valley’s Gay Men’s Chorus, now with more than 90 singers. They promote harmony through outstanding performances as we entertain and empower our audiences and embrace diversity through community outreach. One of the core principles of Modern Men is embracing diversity. The chorus welcomes gay, bisexual, and transgender men and allies, providing a safe space for individuals to express themselves through music. Their inclusive approach fosters a sense of belonging, breaking down barriers and promoting acceptance in the Coachella Valley.
Modern Men emerged as a part of the growing gay choral music movement of the last 30 years. They were established in 2013 with the vision of being an all-inclusive group of men who love to sing, reflect our changing culture, and believe that performing great music can promote positive ideals and transcend human differences.
