4 Saints at the Kimpton Rowan Hotel – Dec. 24

Enjoy Christmas Eve at 4 Saints with one of the best views in the valley. Enjoy burrata served with fig jam, balsamic, olive oil, tarragon, and grilled sourdough for the table. The second course includes selections like warm shrimp salad, butternut squash soup, yellowfin tuna tartare, and baby beets with pink lady apples. For the main entrée, select from salmon, lobster, beef tenderloin, or roasted duck breast. For the vegetarian, order the chanterelle mushroom risotto with fine herbs. $125 pp. 5 pm with last reservation at 9:45 pm. Reservations.

Johannes – Dec. 24

Johannes is open for Christmas Eve dinner, 4:30 – 8:30 pm. They are closed on Christmas Day. Regular menu. Reservations.

LuLu California Bistro – Dec. 24 & 25

Christmas Eve brunch is served from 9 am to 2 pm. Main entrees include turkey, ham, rosemary half chicken, turkey pot pie, and seafood linguini with shrimp and lobster. A special holiday menu is available from 3 to 9 pm.

Christmas Day includes a 4-course feast: soup, salad, entrée, and dessert. Lots to choose from. $69.99 pp. $24 for 12 and under. Christmas Menu. Served 1 – 9 pm.

Pomme Frite Holiday Dinner, Dec. 24 & 25

Pomme Frite is a European style café featuring Belgian cuisine. They are serving a 4-course prix fixe menu for the holidays. First course includes choice of crab bisque, caesar salad, or French onion soup. The second course includes your choice off escargot, black mussels, tiger shrimp, frog legs, or an assortment of Pâté  and charcuterie. For the main entree, selections include Mediterranean seabass, French cassoulet, been tenderloin, rack of lamb, or twin veal shank.  $79.95 5 – 9:30 pm. Purple Room Jazz Dinner – Dec. 24 & 25

Celebrate the holidays with jazz and a traditional three-course holiday dinner! The Kevin Tokarz Quartet sets the tone for Holiday Jazz in the intimate setting of the Purple Room, home of the Rat Pack, along with a prefix three-course holiday menu including your choice of Herb Roasted Prime Rib, Scottish Salmon, Roast Pork Tenderloin and Vegan Bourguignon. The Colony Club – Dec. 24 & 25

Located in the iconic Colony Palms Hotel, The Colony Club offers an elegant and nostalgic setting for Christmas dining. Melvyn’s at the Ingleside Inn – Dec. 25

Melvyn’s at the Ingleside Inn is a must-visit for those seeking a true taste of vintage glamour. On Christmas Eve TRIO will offer their regular seasonal menu with special additions to include: Snake River Farms Wagyu Tomahawk Ribeye and Whole Roasted Striped Bass. 3 – 9 pm

On Christmas Day savor a fabulous 3-course prix fixe menu. First course served family style includes house-made biscuits, Caesar salad and potato Gnocchi. Chi Chi at the Avalon Hotel – Dec. 25

The Chi Chi’s décor is a delightful mix of midcentury modern design and bohemian charm, creating an ambiance that is both trendy and relaxed. The open-air patio, adorned with lush greenery and stylish furniture, beckons guests to unwind and savor their dining experience while enjoying the beautiful Palm Springs weather.

Enjoy you holiday 3-course pre-fixe dinner poolside at the Chi Chi. Start out with your choice of their Christmas salad, tuna tartar, or smoked beets salad with coconut yogurt and rose water vinaigrette. Grand Central Palm Springs – Dec. 25

Enjoy a 3-course prix fixe celebration at Grand Central Palm Springs. Begin with lobster bisque or an asparagus salad. Hilton Palm Springs – Dec. 25

The Hilton is offering a 3-course pre-fixe Christmas day dinner. Start with your choice of cranberry salad, pear and blue cheese salad, or mushroom creamed soup. Palm Springs Aerial Tramway – Dec. 25 & Jan 1

Ride ’n’ Dine tickets—which include Tram admission and dinner at Pines Café (a cafeteria-style restaurant)—are available for purchase from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Dinner service begins at 11:00 a.m. Combination tickets are $41 for adults and seniors, and $27.50 for children (ages 3-10).

Peaks Restaurant will serve special holiday dining menus on December 25 & January 1. Holiday dining in Peaks Restaurant begins at 11 am and is $79. A separate menu for children ages 3-10 is also available. Tram fare is not included. Peaks Restaurant will also continue to serve its regular menu. Reservations are recommended. Kings Highway, located at the Ace Hotel & Swim Club, if serving a 3-course Christmas feast.  5 – 10 pm. Begin with their preserved tomato toast with basil and balsamic reduction. Entrée choices include mushroom ravioli, herb stuffed porchetta, or ribeye steak. Finish with house-made doughnut holes in dark chocolate, powdered sugar, and raspberries. $75  Menu  Reservations.

Through Dec. 31, Miracle Pop-Up at Truss & Twine

For the ultimate holiday-themed cocktail experience, visit the Miracle pop-up bar at Truss & Twine in the Uptown Design District. Sip creatively curated cocktails such as the “Christmasapolitan,” “Rudolph’s Replacement,” “The Krampus,” and more.  These specialty cocktails are served in a collectible holiday mug or glass. Proceeds from select cocktails/merchandise benefit Seva Foundation, a global non-profit eye care organization that works with local communities to develop self-sustaining programs that preserve and restore sight.

In homage to the fabled Chi-Chi Club, you will step back in time and get a glimpse of the performances of yesteryear with a Holiday twist! The artists at PS Underground will bring the spirit of the season to the stage, as you revel in the festive glamour surrounding you. Their secret menu unfolds as the evening progresses. Join PS Underground for a sidesplittingly funny yet raunchy romp into the darker side of this usually sparkly holiday season. The characters in this laugh-a-minute twisted Sunday Brunch are pulling out all the festive, naughty stops! Not for the faint of heart, you can expect raunchy lyrics and hilarious twists on holiday songs, poems and stories from a cast of very off-color, holly-not-so-jolly characters.
