The Chaparral Nudist Hotel offers rooms with balconies and breathtaking views. It was once part of the famous Chaparral Lodge (named after the street name), the site of legendary movie star parties, and mentioned in Joseph Wambaugh’s novels (The Secrets of Harry Bright). All rooms in this nudist hotel are at least 300 square feet, overlooking the pool, and feature King or 2 twin beds, a safe, and a Mini-Frig. Relax in the exclusive newly remodeled courtyard suites, where every room is unique in shape and design. They reflect the classical style and elegance of 1950s Palm Springs and evoke the era of a private movie star hideaway. Complete with a secluded garden patio setting with terra cotta tiles. The Courtyard features 11 exclusive rooms and suites nestled in an intimate Spanish-style courtyard. All rooms have a refrigerator, safe, and microwave. Suites include a kitchenette and a private patio leading to the activity pool.
The Desert Sun Resort amenities include tennis, pickleball, two heated swimming pools, a hot tub, and a spa. You can also play a friendly volleyball game. The on-site Oasis Café offers light bites and has a full bar. There is also a gift shop.
