The Palm Springs Visitor Center is housed in a historic building designed by the renowned architect Albert Frey, which is an attraction. Frey’s design reflects the midcentury modern aesthetic that defines much of Palm Springs.
The Visitor Center offers information on local attractions, events, and activities. It also offers maps, brochures, and dining, shopping, and sightseeing recommendations. It’s a fantastic resource if you want to make the most of your visit to this iconic desert destination.
Adjacent to the Visitor Center is the Palm Springs Welcome sign, which is very popular for Instagram photos and sweeping views of the San Jacinto Mountains.
They have a charging station and public restrooms.
You can stop by on your way to visit the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.
