About

You can’t get any more Palm Springs delicious than Trio Palm Springs.

Executive Chef Jeremy Loomis guides the menu. His vegetable-forward menu reflects the excellent melting pot of the State’s cultures and cuisines presented in a modern yet approachable fashion. Jeremy’s vision is to share dishes around the table to weave an interactive experience.

The meal starts with homemade biscuits, fresh Japanese kampachi crudo (yellowtail fish), A5 beef carpaccio, and crispy crab croquettes. Grade A5 for Wagyu beef is the highest grade, where the “A” represents the yield grade and “5” means the meat quality grade. It’s these small details that matter.

Meat and seafood entrees include tomahawk pork chop, Jidori half chicken, Scottish salmon, diver scallops, and Wagyu NY strip steak. For the pasta lover, enjoy house-made selections, including bucatini (think pasta with whole running through the center), crescenza triangoli (cheese ravioli), egg-based chittara, and twisted-shaped gemelli. Pair with seasonal fresh vegetables like Japanese eggplant, sweet corn 3-ways, and romano beans.

Trio’s Architecturally Significant Space

Trio is fortunate to be a steward of the midcentury modern property, the Turonnet Building, built in 1953. It was designed by renowned modernists and local architects John Porter Clark and Albert Frey. It began as the Armand Turonnet Art Gallery and later became a bank. The exterior facade showcases the original travertine walls. You can also see the original interior safe near the entrance. Being a historic midcentury property, the Turonnet building holds cultural and architectural value within the community. Its iconic status and rich history make it a noteworthy destination for locals and visitors, attracting people who appreciate fine dining and architecture.
