At the very heart of this effort is our focus on making our guests and employees safe and comfortable in a welcoming environment. We will provide the most advanced hygienic safeguards that serve our clients, guests, staff, teams, and all other visitors.

These extensive measures will include the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), food safety measures, air quality control, surface cleaning, physical distancing, temperature checks, hand sanitizers, reduced touch points, contactless transactions, daily monitoring systems, special signage and more. We will be rolling out these details in the coming days and working with our clients to customize the program to their specific needs.

GBAC STAR™ is the cleaning industry’s only outbreak prevention, response and recovery accreditation for facilities. Palm Springs Convention Center is one of a few U.S. Convention Centers that are GBAC accredited. This is the gold standard of prepared facilities. This accreditation means that a facility has:

*Established and maintained a cleaning, disinfection, and infectious disease prevention program to minimize risks associated with infectious agents like the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2).

*The proper cleaning protocols, disinfection techniques, and work practices in place to combat biohazards and infectious disease.
