The Gateway to a Great Stay

First impressions are more than just fleeting emotions; they are windows into a transformative experience. You will always remember your first kiss with that special someone, the first taste of a gourmet meal, and your first glimpse of a perfect vacation.

Welcome to Arrive.

Most travelers encounter our town via the northern route, where this hospitable haven is situated. “We’re one of the first things they see. Our backdrop of the mountains, it symbolizes Palm Springs in a nutshell,” narrates Anthony Reynoso, general manager at Arrive. “It puts a little bit of added pressure on it for us to be, obviously, the first person they see.”

Anthony has studied the fine art of welcoming guests, and the process begins before you even step foot on the grounds. “When you see it from the outside and you pull up, you don’t get the full grasp of what’s inside. That’s done on purpose. It’s a little piece of serenity inside here. When you pull up to the front, you expect this small hotel. You walk inside and you see, wow, okay, this is why it’s ARRIVE.”

As visitors drink in the ambience of the resort, they can chase it with the beverage of their choice. “We’re different than any other hotel that I’ve ever been at, where you actually check in at our bar. Our bar area is our front desk. It’s unique in that sense.” From the first sip to the entire trip, Anthony is serving authentic warmth. “It’s a little piece of paradise, is what I like to call it. It’s a little serenity. It’s a getaway, but it’s more than just staying in a hotel room.”

Indeed, “We have a coffee shop here. We have an ice cream Shop(pe) here. Most guests don’t know that that’s going to be available to them. Or, if you prefer feasting on convenience, you can dig into the choices back at Arrive. “Our menu is I don’t think what people expect for a hotel menu,” beams Anthony. “Our restaurant goes above and beyond with that. We have a chef we brought from LA who has free reign over the menu. She can change it at any time, so it’s always updating. It’s a real restaurant, not just a hotel bar and grill.”

The amenities at Arrive redefine all-inclusiveness. “We have a lot of guests that come in and don’t leave our property. They eat here. They stay at the pool here. They drink at our bar here. They’re coming for the experience.” Anthony regales us with stories of customer loyalty.

His enthusiasm is refreshing, given what an unimaginably difficult year we collectively endured. “It was tough for everybody in our industry, definitely. We were fortunate enough to have a very built-in following, so everything came back really quickly. As soon as we were able to take reservations, we were full again. As soon as we were able to seat people at our restaurant, we were full again.”

With a song in his tone, Anthony regards his visitors like family members who are finally reuniting. “I love for people to experience it. Everybody that experiences it always comes back. So it’s great.” Anthony continues, “People come here to experience what I see every day… So being able to do it, it doesn’t really feel like work.” Punctuating his point with passion, Anthony concludes, “It’s just very peaceful in here… I always loved it.”

Positivity radiates from Arrive Palm Springs, from its general demeanor to its general manager. We love it too, Anthony – thanks for being the North Star in our Northern PS galaxy.
