Author SAM IRVIN started his career as Brian De Palma’s assistant on THE FURY and DRESSED TO KILL. He has directed over 50 films and television shows, including ELVIRA’S HAUNTED HILLS, OBLIVION, GUILTY AS CHARGED, and the erotic gay horror series DANTE’S COVE; co-executive produced the Academy Award winning GODS AND MONSTERS; served as the historical consultant for the Tony Award winning LIZA’S AT THE PALACE starring Liza Minnelli. The Queer Screams Film Festival awarded Irvin its 2023 Career Achievement Award; and he has won 5 Rondo Awards, including the 2023 Writer of the Year Award for his coming-of-age memoir I WAS A TEENAGE MONSTER HUNTER!
