Family + at the Palm Springs Art Museum

Join us every third Sunday of the month for Family+, a fun and free event for everyone!
The museum is transformed into a creative hub where artists, makers, and musicians come together to offer a variety of exciting activities and workshops for kids, teens, and families+.

In October, join us for a set of art activities that celebrate Dia de Los Muertos through creative expressions of commemoration and transformation led by Raices Cultura.

Raices Cultura, a local grassroots arts & culture nonprofit, has been celebrating Dia de Los Muertos communally in the City of Coachella since 2005. Learn more about this community partner at www.raicescultura.org.

Drop-In Activity:
“Leave a Light on for You…” A Veladora Activity.
Bring a photo of a loved one to create a unique and artful remembrance candle.

Workshop:
“Metamorphosis” – an introductory painting and creative writing workshop.
