“It’s a Wonderful World”, made famous by Louis Armstrong, sums up the music for our spring concert. We will excite you with musical impressions of strolling through the amazing Redwood Forests, hiking through the ethereal red rocks of Sedona, climbing to the summit of a mountain range, or gazing in reflection at the great Shenandoah River. These are just a few of the musical journeys on which the band will take you. Also featured will be our world-famous guest composer, Frank Ticheli, who will conduct his exciting piece “Vesuvius”. And the jazz band will also throw in a bit of the romantic side to this wonderful world. You won’t want to miss this exciting concert. Tickets are available online.
