Mid-Mod Café

Mod Café is Uptown Palm Springs’ [new] organic alternative for healthy smoothies, as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner. Created by the owners of Palm Greens, the distinctive organic eatery in South Palm Springs renowned for its Bradley’s Ultra Green smoothies (named after Coachella Valley’s own Prize Fighter and patron, Tim Bradley), Mod Cafe offers a healthy spin on American classics with vegan, organic, vegetarian and Gluten-free options. Artificial additives, preservatives, or high fructose corn syrup are NEVER on the menu, and all meat and fish are either free range or wild caught.

Jeff Huyett and Greg Schmitz fell in love with the desert almost ten years ago, while visiting from Maui. After a hugely successful decade in Hawaii with their business, JAWZ: Fish Tacos, the couple decided California is the place they ought to be and made the move to Palm Springs. “Like Maui,” Greg says, “the desert has so much natural beauty with the San Jacinto Mountains instead of the Pacific.”
