Dash and a Handful Catering is a full service catering and special event company based in Palm Springs. Chad Gardner, Executive Chef and Owner, has a passion for exotic, bold spices and unique flavors. He offers more than 20 years of fine dining hospitality experience in weddings, private occasions, corporate and charity events.
Dash and a handful is more than a name- it’s a style of cooking for owner Chad Gardner. As long as he can remember, his mother was in the kitchen creating wonderful offerings for his family, many times without recipes and just by using “a dash of this and handful of that.” Bitten by the culinary bug at young age, he has always looked at food in an unconventional way by creating dishes in his head and then preparing them in the kitchen.
We offer Complimentary Delivery to local Palm Springs as well as Takeout and seating at our Chef’s Bar and Community Table in The Studio. We are now offering our lunch service Tuesday – Saturday from 11:30 – 2:30.
Listed as “Best of Yelp , Personal Chefs,” in Palm Springs, Gardner is a member of the exclusive James Beard Foundation and has dedicated a Farm to Table approach to catering whenever possible. He prides himself on being environmentally aware and makes it a point to use sustainable products. Each item is prepared in a “green kitchen” using induction heating and an electric convection oven.
Gardner is also the exclusive caterer for iconic Palm Springs homes including The Lucy House, The Gabor Retreat, Dry Falls Las Palmas, the C. Farrell Compound and more.
