Crafted Cocktails are a Palm Springs Tradition

Cool summer drinks are a must-have during the desert’s hot summer days and nights and many of the local restaurants have devised some delicious and colorful alternatives.

Eight4Nine, the restaurant’s colorful, eclectic lounge/bar area is the perfect spot to enjoy a drink of the same name. The Eight4Nine contains Crater Lake Vodka, limoncello, Mandarine Napoléon, and Mionetto Prosecco float muddled with a strawberry and a lemon wedge. Or if you’re in the mood for something non-alcoholic, but nonetheless festive, order a Blueberry Mockjito—soda water and Monin premium blueberry syrup muddled with fresh blueberries and mint and served in a tall glass with a mint and lime garnish.

Enjoy a colorful Forever Marilyn cocktail  at Trio Palm Springs restaurant. (Three Olives Marilyn Monroe strawberry vodka, strawberry purée, fresh lemon juice)

If you’re strolling through downtown, drop in at LuLu California Bistro and relax and enjoy the mountain view while you sip The Ultimate Cosmo—Crater Lake Vodka, Grand Marnier, and cranberry juice.

At The Tropicale Restaurant & Coral Seas Lounge you won’t want to miss their sparkling Blue Hawaiian Martini: Muddled pineapple with orange. Cruzan Coconut rum, orange curaçao, a splash of pineapple juice, a splash of orange juice, and a splash of coco Lopez coconut purée.
